Steve de Bonvoisin
Stéphane (Steve) de Bonvoisin is a media executive with an in-depth experience of both the editorial and business sides of the industry. He compiled economic and media assessment impact studies on 20+ developing and emerging market countries for international investment agencies and media outlets. He was a reporter for Dow Jones / The Wall Street Journal in Europe and an on-air contributor to CNBC. He has interviewed numerous heads of state, government ministers and chief executives. More recently, he was an executive at media conglomerate Bertelsmann handling change strategy, communications and business development in the TV, publishing, music and digital sectors. He serves as advisor on several boards and as communications liaison for the United Nations – Kingdom of Bhutan initiative on Gross National Happiness and the International Expert Working Group convened by His Majesty the King of Bhutan. He also is involved in creating the Belgium-Bhutan Friendship Association following the recent exchange of Ambassadors between the two countries.
Steve is passionate about communications and travel. He has been to over 70 countries, as remote as Antarctica and Chuuk. His other interests are scuba-diving and skiing.
A Belgian national, Steve has a degree in economics and international relations from the London School of Economics and an MBA from Stanford Business School.
